Carrollton Business Rolls Out All-Natural Moisturizers

On Saturday, 6th October from 2-4 pm, a Carrollton Business rolls out 100% natural moisturizers at the Conference Room in the Carrollton Library, 1700 Keller Springs Road, Carrollton, 75006. The goal of the event is to address questions generated by the growing shea butter buzz, which has raised awareness of the many benefits of this body butter.

Healthline alone lists 22 emollient, moisturizing, and collagen-building qualities. However, several personal questions remain unanswered. Does it have a pleasant fragrance? Does it go on smoothly or do you have to rub vigorously? Is it suitable for white skin as well? Are there shea butter products for men? Is it possible for a 100% natural product to relieve pain?

With its revolutionary formulations, Lovelier Shea Butter can unequivocally provide a “Yes” to these questions and more. A medical doctor founded Lovelier Shea to harness the benefits of Shea Butter. And because it does nothing but shea butter, it is able to produce silky-smooth creams.

Among its many products are creams specifically crafted for white and black skin. It has products for males and females, each with a light and healthy fragrance.

After its successful launch and 5-star Google reviews, the company feels the time is right to formally introduce Lovelier Shea. And where better to start than with its immediate neighbors? The Lovelier Shea Butter experience is coming to Carrollton.

It will be giving out a free sample of its face, eye, body, hair, or foot cream as well as its most popular joint relief cream to everybody – Black, White, male and female – who attends.

For planning purposes, registration is required, by October 6th at www.loveliershea.com

Choosing The Best Exfoliator

Both men and women know the problem with dead skin cells. When you have a layer of those, you cannot get your make-up right, no matter how good you are. The skin is dull and looks lifeless. Gray. It is therefore no surprise that we are always on the lookout for a great exfoliator. We want those dead cells gone, like yesterday. But we may have a problem choosing the best exfoliator.

Now, what you consider a great exfoliator may differ from my idea of what makes a wonderful product. It may also depend on how fast you want those cells gone. If you are in a hurry, a powerful facial mask is your best bet. And there are good facial masks out there. You get one such mask, apply it, wait ten or fifteen minutes, wash it off, and hey presto! Your skin is a fresh as a baby’s. Until the next time.

You have to remind yourself to set time aside for your masking. In the hurly-burly of life, you forget your scheduled session. Until one day, you look in the mirror and experience shock at how gray your skin looks.

Aghast that it has been that way for God-knows-how-long, you hurriedly apply your mask. You know that this is a never-ending cycle of gray and fresh. And you don’t know how long your friends have been wondering why you look so pale before you actually catch on.

I Worry About Chemical Contamination

Scheduling conflict is not the reason for choosing the best exfoliator. Not at all; we have time, particularly in the COVID lockdown. We chose Lovelier Shea Butter Skincare – Shea Radiance, Shea Supple and She Guy) for health reasons. Because each time you apply your regular mask, you are concerned.

You wonder what the charcoal or other chemical is doing to your skin – long term. I know I do since I am terribly afraid of skin cancer, especially melanoma.  And that is the real beauty of these Lovelier Shea Butter skincare products. They are 100% natural. There is not a single chemical anywhere in the products.

But that is not all. Because they are skin butter, you don’t need a schedule. Just apply as part of your daily routine and watch what happens. With your next shower, you notice a bit of ashing on your skin. That ash is the sign that the body butter is working as designed. It is gently and naturally exfoliating the dead cells on your skin.

Within a week, you no longer observe the slight film of ash. That means its exfoliating work is done. The dead cells are gone and as long as you stick with Lovelier Shea, they are gone forever. Naturally, with some skins, the process may take a little longer but once the cells are gone, they are gone. No need to mask.

And although these were not created as beauty products, ladies have discovered the great exfoliating properties. They use them on their faces. Choosing the best exfoliator has never been easier.

Enjoy!

White Shea Butter Is Better Than Yellow

You are no stranger to the controversy. Everybody wants to know: Which is better, white or yellow shea butter. The fact that a controversy exists is a good sign that shea butter has come of age. Shea butter is trending is why people want to know which is better – white or yellow shea butter. We are happy to let you into the secret. The verdict is in. White shea butter is better than yellow shea butter.

Keep in mind, both of them are great products. Healthline alone found twenty-two benefits of shea butter. Therefore, that you are using either variety of shea butter already puts you way ahead of the curve. Which variety you chose to use depends on your desired outcome. And of course, your budget. Yellow shea butter is butter that has not been refined. Therefore, it is softer, what with its contents of other materials. It also tends to be slightly more affordable. So, if your budget is tight, you might want to go with yellow shea butter.

If, however, your clients are more discerning and believe they are worth it, go with the white shea butter. And I suspect they are, as otherwise, they may not be into shea butter in the first place. Only discerning clients know not to put chemical compounds on the body. They go for the 100% natural beauty products like Shea Lift to banish their eyebags. So, to resolve the controversy of which is better, white or yellow shea butter, we say it depends. White shea butter is harder and therefore tougher to process. But we are worth the trouble and the cost, don’t you think?

We Prefer White Shea Butter

At Lovelier Shea Butter, the white variety is our preference. And not only because one of us is a medical doctor, although that might factor into it. Why not use the refined raw shea butter instead of the unrefined variety. It just sounds so much healthier don’t you think? Besides, we like that the white butter smells so good.

You know that some cultures use shea butter in their cooking, don’t you? Well, the white variety of shea butter reminds you of food in a way that the yellow cannot. That is another reason we make its declaration. Of course, you are not into shea butter for culinary processes and may not care much about that last line. Just take our word for it. White shea butter smells so much healthier than yellow shea butter.

And if you are working with shea butter for beauty processes, think how much the good fragrance can save you. You can save a ton in trying to mask the smell of yellow shea butter. Simply choose white shea butter and reduce how much fragrance you require. If nothing else does, that should convince you white shea butter is better than yellow. Go for it and if you need a supply, get some by clicking here.

Let us know how it works.

Using Shea Butter Can Be Hard Work

So, you already love shea butter. Nobody needs to let you into the secret that shea butter is a wonder of nature. Your facial skin has been benefitting from shea butter for years, if not decades. Well, you and me both. I know people who use it for skincare or haircare and have done so for a good long time. But we also know that using shea butter can be hard work.

If you choose the white variety for its nice fragrance, you have your work cut out for you. You have to cut off a small piece – and I mean cut! Until these days of the softer lovelier shea butter products, I used to use my thumbnail. I used the back of it to scoop a bit out of the shea butter block. And then comes the rubbing between your palms. Heaven help you if you are trying to do this in winter. It is guaranteed to make you regularly arrive late for your appointments unless you start earlier.

A friend of mine takes the work a step further. She has vials of essential oils all over her vanity table and after rubbing between her palms, she adds a drop of her oil. That way, she can have a different fragrance every day. Except that she might accidentally burn her palm if she gets the pure essential oil on it during preparation. But that is a story for another day. Suffice it to say that working with essential oils is fraught with danger unless you are very careful

Cut Out The Work With Lovelier Shea Butter Products

Yes, using shea butter can be hard work. Sometimes, I forgo the wonders of it just because I don’t want to take the trouble. At such times, I figuratively hold my nose and use something with chemicals in it. I furiously hope it does not lead to skin or other cancers down the road. But now, for those of us who insist on all-natural vegan beauty products, there is Lovelier Shea Butter.

They have done all the grunt work for us. Now, there is no longer cutting, just scooping. The company realizes that using shea butter can be hard work and that that can keep you from benefiting. The DIY series is for people like my friend who wants to vary her fragrance with every day of the week. In that series, there are two options, one for haircare and the other for skincare and beauty.

Whether you go for the DIY series or a finished product, you get a soft and fluffy product each time.  That is when using shea butter is no longer hard work. Simply add your fragrance of choice to the DIY shea butter and you are ready to go. Before too long, you will forget that using shea butter can be hard work.

Of course, because it may expand with the addition of your oils, you should mix it up in another jar. Keep your DIY jar as a sort of stock jar. Enjoy!

Don’t Let the Blacks Have All the Fun

My friend was very pleasedto get her hands on Shea Supple, the 100% natural Skin Softener that Lovelier Shea Butter produces. It is actually a skincare product but she deployed it as a beauty product and applied it to her face. She is white but she was determined not to let the goodness of Shea Butter be limited to the Black skin, no sir! I wondered how she knew about how beneficial shea butter was and it transpired that she has a friend in beautician school who was always enthusing about shea butter. Evidently, the wonders of shea butter were making waves in that beauty school and her stance was “Why let the Blacks have all the fun?”

Wow! I hadn’t heard that shea butter had broken out of the Black community where women have known of its wonders for decades. I was happy for her that she wasn’t letting her white skin keep her from deriving the full benefits from this butter that has been called the wonder of nature. After all, blacks make the most of the gifts that God put in the white community so why not the other way around? Good for her, good for her.

She reminds me of a gentleman on the Aldi checkout line one day in the recent past. He had a few plantains in his cart, as did I. And perhaps recognizing that I might know more about plantains than he, he asked how I fixed it. After I explained, I wondered what he was doing with his. It turned out he has a daughter who would eat nothing but plantains. So, he buys some and when they are ripe, he smashes (his words, not mine) them in the blender, and his young daughter (still a baby) would gobble them up. All I can say is “smart daughter of a wise father.” It is the same with my friend.

She couldn’t see any reason not to benefit from shea butter and as soon as she got a Lovelier Shae product and saw how soft it was with a nice lavender fragrance, she was on it. The results did not disappoint her but you may not know why it works all the time. The reason is why we started marketing Lovelier Shea Products.

We have grown to love our products and wanted to extend their benefits to a wider circle of friends. There was no doubt in our minds that you too will love it. And that includes our white friends. Why let the blacks have all the fun when you can get in on the act like my friend?

Since we started the wider distribution, customers people have wondered what in our beauty products increases the collagen on their faces. We don’t know the entire chemistry of it; we just know that Lovelier Shae Butter products are the fastest way to increase your collagen and avoid wrinkles. Have you heard that blacks don’t crack? Well, join the black. Don’t let your white skin stop get in the way of having supple and dewy skin like your black friends. Why Let the Blacks Have All the Fun?

Shea Butter Is A Gift From God

This is Lovelier Shea Butter – All the goodness of Shea Butter, only lovelier. Trust you are doing well, despite the lockdown. We are so excited to be here chatting with you on shea butter and all its potentials. You probably know it has been referred to as a wonder of nature. So, today, we want to give the first word to a lady who wrote about this. After you have read it, you will agree that shea butter is a gift from God

She wrote about shea butter in Healthline and we have her permission to use the article as long as we reference Healthline. (Thank you, Healthline). We feature it below as an appropriate way to kick off our Lovelier Shea butter chat.

But because it is so comprehensive, we split it into sections so each one is not too long

What Is Shea Butter? 22 Reasons to Add It to Your Routine

In addition to knowing that Shea Butter is a gift from God, here is what to know .

What is it?

Shea butter is fat that’s extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. It’s solid at warm temperatures and has an off-white or ivory color. Shea trees are native to West Africa, and most shea butter still comes from that region.

Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids — combined with its easy-to-spread consistency — make it a great product for smoothing, soothing, and conditioning your skin.

Curious? Here are 22 reasons to add it to your routine, how to use it, and more.

  1. It’s safe for all skin types

Shea butter is technically a tree nut product. But unlike most tree nut products, it’s very low in the proteins that can trigger allergies.

In fact, there’s no medical literature documenting an allergy to topical shea butter.

Shea butter doesn’t contain chemical irritants known to dry out skin, and it doesn’t clog pores. It’s appropriate for nearly any skin type.

  1. It’s moisturizing

Shea butter is typically used for its moisturizing effects. These benefits are tied to shea’s fatty acid content, including linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids.

When you apply shea topically, these oils are rapidly absorbed into your skin. They act as a “refatting” agent, restoring lipids and rapidly creating moisture.

This restores the barrier between your skin and the outside environment, holding moisture in and reducing your risk of dryness.

  1. It won’t make your skin oily

Shea butter contains high levels of linoleic acid and oleic acid. These two acids balance each other out. That means shea butter is easy for your skin to fully absorb and won’t make your skin look oily after application.

  1. It’s anti-inflammatory

The plant esters of shea butter have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties.

When applied to the skin, shea triggers cytokines and other inflammatory cells to slow their production.

This may help minimize irritation caused by environmental factors, such as dry weather, as well as inflammatory skin conditions, such as eczema.

  1. It’s antioxidant

Shea butter has significant levels of vitamins A and E, which means it promotes strong antioxidant activity.

Antioxidants are important anti-aging agents. They protect your skin cells from free radicals that can lead to premature aging and dull-looking skin.

  1. It’s antibacterial

2012 study suggests that oral doses of shea bark extract can lead to decreased antimicrobial activity in animals.

Although more research is needed, this could indicate possible antibacterial benefits in humans.

Because of this, some speculate that topical application may decrease the amount of acne-causing bacteria on the skin.

  1. It’s antifungal

Shea tree products have been established as powerful ingredients to fight skin infections caused by fungi.

While shea butter may not be able to treat every kind of fungal infection, we know that it kills spores of the fungi that cause ringworm and athlete’s foot.
